She (he) then invented a procedure to save her daughter's life . Incredible ! Ms. Rothblatt's research company is now the leader in fields such as Nanotechnology , Cancer , Diabetes , Heart conditions ... It's a shame that people have to get so hung up on things like that. Does it really matter what sex someone is or what they once were? They are still people who have every right as much as the next person to do whatever they want. I think many people are under the impression that someone "chooses" to do this. I don't agree with that. I think it's something within ones self, the same as someone being gay. I don't believe people choose to be gay. Who would choose to live a lifestyle that would create all kinds of heartache and that people are ostracized for? It is a shame that people have to be so judgemental but such is life, that is how it is.

The funny thing here is Martine isn't gay . She now lives and resides as a woman , but is still married to the same woman he(she) was married to since college . His wife claims to be a "Martine-sexual" , They still make love and share life together as a couple .

chic is right, everyone has the right to desire who and what they do, and to feel however they do, whether they were born that way or not.
having decided a long time ago that who i was attracted to wasn't limited by gender, just by personality, i can say that very few people would "choose" to be gay. often people can't understand what they don't feel, and so they fear it and assume that it's not "natural".
