Da Year Of Da Comedy

JONAH HILL, PAUL RUDD, SETH ROGEN, and JASON SEGEL: "The Pretty Young Things"!

After appearing in "Knocked Up" , "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" & "Superbad" this quartet can now be considered summa cum laude graduates of the Judd Apatow school of comedy. Unlike so many comedy stars of the last two decades, they seem at their best when they work not as soloists but as part of a tightly knit ensemble. Say good-bye to the laughter of alienation and hello to a brand of comedy that fosters a feeling of community. Rather than dominate a crowd, they conspire with the people in the audience. Their strength lies in their charm. Even Rogen, Apatow's student from his cult classic TV shows "Undeclared" & "Freaks and Geeks". Seth has now become the most sought after comedian/actor/writer in Hollywood and is now in post production of the new "Green Hornet Movie". He will play the lead role of "Britt Reid/The Green Hornet". I love give'n Seth some props cause he's a fellow Canuck.
* Borrowed somewhat from "Vanity Fair".

: Funny People.

: I Love You Man.

: Observe & Report

Look for "Funny People" to be the movie of the year. Some are say'n quietly it will be the first comedy movie to crack the "Oscars".

Enjoy da Trailers

The last one really got me with the macho security guard, "The world needs a fucking hero!"

I'll wait until it comes out on DVD though, or better yet on Hulu. :)

Ya that was pretty funny. Then gets the shit kicked out'a him.

Seth did a two second spot on "Family Guy" last night. It was very self disparaging. Not many actors with that kind'a pull would do something that really was a shot at your comedy style. It was funny though!
