Death Of A Clown.

Soupy Sales was my afternoon hero. He made me laugh everyday. And for some reason made my Mom laugh just as hard? It wasn't until years later that I figured out she was laugh'n at something quite different. He was da king of double entendre.

Soupy took an afternoon kids show and made it "Must See T.V." I think Soupy pioneered da term? His bits were stolen by Late Night Shows for years during and after his show's demise. So long Soupy you influenced some of the best comics of our generation. You wont be forgotten.

"The Dick Van Dyke Show" did a story line about Soupy. They called him "The Suer", because he would sue anyone that infringed on his show's ideas and bits. This bit was done repeatedly by one T.V. show to another. Uncle Milty stole it for his crappy show! And I think at lest a million other shows stole it! Soupy wrote it and made it famous in da 50's. Soupy still did it best!

Thanx fer da laughs "Pie Man".

Al Sez No... Ta God?

Einstein's Letter:
Princeton, 3. 1. 1954

Dear Mr Gutkind,

Inspired by Brouwer’s repeated suggestion, I read a great deal in your book, and thank you very much for lending it to me ... With regard to the factual attitude to life and to the human community we have a great deal in common. Your personal ideal with its striving for freedom from ego-oriented desires, for making life beautiful and noble, with an emphasis on the purely human element ... unites us as having an “American Attitude.”

Still, without Brouwer’s suggestion I would never have gotten myself to engage intensively with your book because it is written in a language inaccessible to me. The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still purely primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. ... For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstition. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong ... have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups, although they are protected from the worst cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise I cannot see anything “chosen” about them.

In general I find it painful that you claim a privileged position and try to defend it by two walls of pride, an external one as a man and an internal one as a Jew. As a man you claim, so to speak, a dispensation from causality otherwise accepted, as a Jew of monotheism. But a limited causality is no longer a causality at all, as our wonderful Spinoza recognized with all incision...

Now that I have quite openly stated our differences in intellectual convictions it is still clear to me that we are quite close to each other in essential things, i.e. in our evaluation of human behavior ... I think that we would understand each other quite well if we talked about concrete things.

With friendly thanks and best wishes,

Yours,

A. Einstein

Wally Sez: Many theologians love to state that Albert Einstein was a man that believed in the God concept. I'm at belief that Ol'Al was a very smart dude. He knew the power of the media. He also knew if at anytime that he misspoke about the actual validity of God his funding and job would simply disappear. Vanish. ((("Poof"))).
Al played it close to the vest when he had encounters with men of da cloth. He also played the media like a violin. When asked by the press about his thoughts about God Albert was a master of manipulation. He hid his true feelings, beliefs and his profound sense that it was a conspiracy.

"A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, of the manifestations of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty - it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute the truly religious attitude; in this sense, and in this alone, I am a deeply religious man." (Albert Einstein)

"I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." (Albert Einstein, 1954)

"I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings." (Albert Einstein)

In doing what he did, making bullshit statements to the media and clergy, Einstein did a huge disservice to his fellow man. This was maybe his biggest in a long line of disservice he made to mankind? Sometimes when we hold back just to maintain our lifestyles we take a step backwards. We should all step up take our place in da world. Don't hold back just because you may hurt your marketable future. That is why I am going to make a giant leap this year. "Dam da torpedoes boys"... Wally is take'n a kick at da can. Again!

Stay tuned.

There Might Not Be Any Gold There? But There Is A Tim's

Tim Hortons strikes gold at Fort Knox

Fort Knox in Kentucky is the first U.S. military base to feature a Tim Hortons restaurant. The iconic military facility, best known as the home for one of the largest gold deposits in the world, serves more than 30,000 soldiers, their families and civilians who live and work there. The Fort Knox location continues our long-standing relationship with troops. Tim Hortons restaurants are located on seven Canadian military bases, as well as at the armed forces base Kandahar, Afghanistan.

What do you think is the coolest thing about there being a Timmies at Fort Knox?

Da Art Of Da Scam: Greenhouse Effect

Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming Scientist Says:

Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet's recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human-induced—cause, according to one scientist's controversial theory.

Earth is currently experiencing rapid warming, which the vast majority of climate scientists says is due to humans pumping huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.

In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.

Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.

"The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said.

Solar Cycles

Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun's heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets.

Mars and Earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.

"Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance," Abdussamatov said.

By studying fluctuations in the warmth of the sun, Abdussamatov believes he can see a pattern that fits with the ups and downs in climate we see on Earth and Mars.

Abdussamatov's work, however, has not been well received by other climate scientists.

"Planets' Wobbles" (Or da ol' switcheroo)

The conventional theory is that climate changes on Mars can be explained primarily by small alterations in the planet's orbit and tilt, not by changes in the sun.

"Wobbles in the orbit of Mars are the main cause of its climate change in the current era," Oxford's Wilson explained. (Ya don't blame the obvious, blame the very notion on something else.)

All planets experience a few wobbles as they make their journey around the sun. Earth's wobbles are known as Milankovitch cycles and occur on time scales of between 20,000 and 100,000 years.

These fluctuations change the tilt of Earth's axis and its distance from the sun and are thought to be responsible for the waxing and waning of ice ages on Earth.

Mars and Earth wobble in different ways, and most scientists think it is pure coincidence that both planets are between ice ages right now. (Mmm Hmmm...)

"Mars has no [large] moon, which makes its wobbles much larger, and hence the swings in climate are greater too," Wilson said. (Of coarse!)

No Greenhouse

He claims that carbon dioxide has only a small influence on Earth's climate and virtually no influence on Mars.

But "without the greenhouse effect there would be very little, if any, life on Earth, since our planet would pretty much be a big ball of ice," said Evan, of the University of Wisconsin.

Abdussamatov remains contrarian, however, suggesting that the sun holds something quite different in store.

"The solar irradiance began to drop in the 1990s, and a minimum will be reached by approximately 2040," Abdussamatov said. "It will cause a steep cooling of the climate on Earth in 15 to 20 years."

When your planet becomes warm wouldn't it be wise to first question da source of da heat? Eco-minded scientists seem to "poo poo" the idea that the sun, our source of heat, has any responsibility for a change of temperature on Earth. They fail to release information that leads to solar flares as the reason that our planet is warming. Even though they know this has happened hundreds of times, if not thousands of times, in it's history. Or is it they don't want to even broach that topic, or are they paid not to study the obvious, our Sun. There are real scientists that are studying the phenomenon that is happening to our planet. And they have real answers. They are not paid buy oil companies or venture capitalists so their science is not being recognized by the "pay media". We on our own should start to see what this "Climate Change" lobby is really trying to sell.

1) Carbon Taxes. 2) Eco venture capitalists. 3) Higher oil prices. 4) Control of all energy markets... Etc...

But the worst of all: An end to any real social economic problems. Because your tax money will be wasted elsewhere. Much like a vacuum.

When a man like Al Gore is at the head of a movement like "Global Warming" or whatever he's calling it now? " Climate Change"? You have to ask yourself why? This is a man that has never in his life done anything but for Al Gore. He was instrumental in taking away rights and freedoms of artists in da 1980's. He did this only to make a name for himself. This is a driven man that holds major stocks and holdings in pharmaceutical and medical fields. Such as the H1N1 virus vaccine. "Google Al Gore and H1N1" and get a surprise. He also has ties with venture capitalists in the oil industry. His family owns a huge amount of stock in Colombian Oil. In fact his government was at fault in deregulating the oil market. In so much has raked in millions dollars doing so. This man at best is a lair. And at worst a fraud and a con artist.

You have to ask yourself. What does he have in it?

And if he is the leader? How good is the cause?
